Diego Montes was a bullfighter until a goring forced him to retire early. Now he teaches at a bullfighting school in Madrid, but the bullring is no longer enough for him. At night he seeks thrills by watching slasher films, and his old obsession with killing is still alive, even if it no longer plays out in the arena. Among his students is Ángel, a confused young man who suffers from vertigo and begins to catch Diego's attention. The story opens with a man who has lost his livelihood but not the drive that defined him, and with a bullfighting class that becomes the stage for everything he tries to hold back. Directed by Pedro Almodóvar and starring Nacho Martínez, Assumpta Serna, and Antonio Banderas.
