The Chalk Line

Paula and her husband, Simón, live in a neighborhood of upscale villas. One night, while driving home after dinner, they come across a little girl wandering alone on the road. They take her to the hospital, but no one can locate her family, and the only clue is that she answers to the name Clara. Two weeks later, with no one claiming her, the couple decides to take her into their home temporarily, a decision that also aims to give their relationship a fresh start. Living together won't be easy. Clara is obsessed with the idea of a monster that will punish her if she steps outside the chalk square painted on the floor, and the film sinks into that fear from the very first moment.
