Synopsis of Veneno

Valeria Vegas is a journalism student who never understood why people called her by a name that wasn't hers. That same problem marked the childhood of Cristina Ortiz, whom they called Joselito in her early years, in 1960s Spain marked by hardship and violence. When Valeria decides to write a book about the life of La Veneno, her story and Cristina's intertwine, and the series traces the artist's life from childhood to her years in television. Created by Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi for Atresplayer, the role of Cristina is shared by Jedet, Daniela Santiago, and Isabel Torres depending on the stage of her life. Lola Rodríguez plays Valeria Vegas.
