Trivia about Valeria

It is the first series in Spanish audiovisual history to be written and directed entirely by women.

Elísabet Benavent was actively involved in the production, taking part in the early scripts and in casting.

Benjamín Alfonso fue sustituido por Maxi Iglesias en el papel de Víctor en octubre de 2019, cuando el rodaje llevaba ya varios meses en marcha.

Inma Torrente and Laura M. Campos won the 2023 Iris Award for Best Directing in Fiction for the series.

The interiors were shot on a soundstage in Fuenlabrada, including the house of Valeria.

Netflix announced the renewal of the series on its social media on March 12, 2024, for what is now officially its fourth and final season.

The fourth season, made up of six episodes, began filming before Netflix's public announcement and welcomed José Pastor, Federico Aguado and Mima Riera as new cast members.

The fourth and final season premiered on February 14, 2025, after the third season had initially been presented as the series finale.
