The Fugitive

Dr. Richard Kimble is a prestigious Chicago surgeon with a nearly perfect life: a beautiful wife, a luxury home in an elegant Chicago neighborhood… His life falls apart the day his wife is brutally murdered by a mysterious one-armed man. Kimble is accused of the crime and, although he is innocent, he is sentenced to death. On the way to prison, the bus carrying Kimble is involved in a traffic accident. Several prisoners manage to escape, including Kimble himself. Detective Samuel Gerard is in charge of the investigation. All the escapees are caught except the elusive Kimble, who slips through their hands for a few seconds. Now that he is free, Kimble knows he has only one way to prove his innocence: find the real killer. Pursued by Gerard, he begins the hunt for the one-armed man.
