Aída: Season 1

Aída García is a divorced woman with no formal education and a past of alcoholism who works as a waitress and cleaner in Madrid. After her father's death, she inherits the family home and moves in with her children, Lorena and Jonathan, in Esperanza Sur, the working-class neighborhood where she grew up. There she shares a roof with her mother, Eugenia, and her brother Luisma, a former drug addict. Aída tries to get by for her family on very little money, while tensions with Eugenia, who fears ending up in a nursing home, shape their daily life. Reuniting with old acquaintances from the neighborhood, like those at Bar Reinols, will complicate her plans.
