Aída

Aída García is a divorced woman with a past of alcoholism and no formal education who works as a waitress and cleaner in central Madrid. When she inherits the family home after her father's death, she leaves the capital and returns to Esperanza Sur, the working-class neighborhood where she grew up. There she moves in with her young children, Lorena and Jonathan, and shares a roof with her mother, Eugenia, and her brother Luisma, a former drug addict. Aída wants to get her family ahead with what little she has, but reuniting with old acquaintances from the neighborhood will complicate her plans. Created by Nacho G. Velilla and produced by Globomedia, the comedy airs on Telecinco and stars Carmen Machi.
