Synopsis of The House of Flowers
The De la Mora family runs a thriving flower shop, a business that conveys unity and happiness. Ernesto, the father, and Virginia, the matriarch, lead a home that seems idyllic. Until the family stumbles upon the corpse of Ernesto's mistress. He had a daughter with her and decides to bring her to live with the rest of the family. That discovery brings to the surface a web of lies, secrets and dysfunction that Virginia will try to hide once again. Her children, however, seem inclined toward behavior that could stain the facade of perfection the family has maintained for years. The series, created by Manolo Caro for Netflix, is built on the contrast between appearances and what lies beneath.
