What Season 7 of All in the Family

The season follows the Bunkers in their Queens home, where space is getting tight for everyone. Archie, a World War II veteran, distrusts anyone who doesn't fit his idea of people, and his fights with Mike, whom he calls Meathead, set the pace of the episodes. Edith tries to keep the peace with her sweetness, though she sometimes comes across as naive. Gloria, who inherited her father's stubbornness and is an outspoken feminist, also argues with her husband. Problems come from outside and inside: Archie loses his job, has an operation at the hospital, and the family takes in a boarder, Teresa, to ease the bills.
