What Season 1 of American Vandal
Twenty-seven teachers' cars are vandalized with obscene images at a high school. The school blames the prank on Dylan Maxwell, the class clown played by Jimmy Tatro, and suspends him. Peter Maldonado, a sophomore and the role of Tyler Alvarez, decides to investigate whether Dylan is really responsible. His friend Sam Ecklund joins him, and the two pose as aspiring documentarians following the style of true-crime reports. Their investigation questions testimonies and the punishment imposed, and the series mixes humor and mystery to examine whether the expulsion was fair.
