What Season 5 of Black Mirror

The fifth season of Black Mirror keeps Charlie Brooker's anthology format: three standalone stories, each with its own characters and setting, linked by technology and the media. Danny and Karl, two former college roommates, reunite in a virtual reality game, and their late-night sessions end up having consequences they never expected. Next, a ride-share driver kidnaps an employee of a social media company in London, and the case becomes an international crisis. The third story follows a lonely teenager who becomes obsessed with a robot doll inspired by Ashley O, just as the life of the real singer begins to fall apart.
