What Season 9 of Cheers

The season opens with Rebecca determined to deny that her intimate encounter with Robin ever happened, and the bar gang has to deal with that secret. Sam, the bar's owner and a former Red Sox pitcher, tries to win a basketball game against Gary with the help of a Celtics star. Rebecca's problems at work and with Robin take up much of the episodes. The conflict with John Hill, the snob who buys the restaurant upstairs, pits Sam against his new neighbor. Norm, Cliff, Woody, Frasier and Lilith make up a group of regulars who come to the bar to forget their worries.
