What Season 11 of Cuéntame cómo pasó

Season 11 opens with a look back at the past: Carlos becomes the link that lets Antonio and Mercedes remember the postwar years, their courtship and Miguel's emigration to France. Then the series jumps to 1977, the year of the first democratic elections in 41 years. Antonio enters politics as a UCD candidate for Albacete and, after the election, takes a post at the Ministry of Agriculture. There he clashes with those who still see him as a messenger boy and with Manuel, the former director, who still holds a lot of power. Mercedes worries about her husband's health, Herminia falls ill, and fear of ETA and the economic crisis creep into San Genaro.
