What Season 3 of Eastbound & Down

One year after season two, Kenny Powers settles in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and revives his baseball career as the closer for the Mermen, a minor league team. He's still the same loudmouth and proclaims himself the new king of the city, but he starts to feel the passing of time, both in his personal life and on the team, where talented young pitchers arrive to challenge his spot. His partying buddy Shane joins him on the adventure, and Toby's first birthday brings him back together with April. Kenny tries to make up for past mistakes, though his own actions keep undoing every effort.
