What Season 4 of Eastbound & Down
Kenny Powers leads a quiet life in the suburbs. He works for a car rental company, writes screenplays now and then, and tries to enjoy nights as a couple with April, with whom he has two children. The excesses of his years as a pitcher seem to be a thing of the past. However, a run-in with Guy Young, a former teammate and host of a TV show, encourages him to return to competition as a celebrity, with the luxury and fame he misses. Kenny wants to reclaim his place, but his temper keeps getting him into trouble. April starts to doubt the perks of having a famous husband, and Stevie is also part of his plans.
