What Season 8 of Hawaii Five-O

The season opens with Steve McGarrett leading a Hawaii state police force, an elite unit that answers directly to Governor Paul Jameson. Alongside Danny Williams, Chin Ho Kelly and Kono Kalakaua, the detective captain once again faces his old enemy Wo Fat, in a plot involving hostages and brainwashing. Afterward, the team pursues mobsters such as Charlie Bombay, foreign agents hunting a traitor, and a scientist who is protecting an alleged Chinese defector. Each case forces them to move between Honolulu and the rest of the archipelago. McGarrett also goes through an improvised trial, and the team protects witnesses, handles kidnappings and robberies at warehouses.
