Trivia about JUJUTSU KAISEN

In 2024, Guinness World Records and the data analytics firm Parrot Analytics named it the most in-demand animated series, with a global demand rate 71.2 times higher than that of the average TV series.
JUJUTSU KAISEN was the second most-watched anime series on Crunchyroll in 2020, behind only Black Clover, and was available in 71 countries and territories.
The official music video for the first opening theme, “Kaikai Kitan” by Eve, reached 100 million views on YouTube in April 2021, making it one of the anime openings to hit that milestone the fastest.
Producer Hiroaki Matsutani said that Yoshiki Kobayashi was initially assigned as composer, a role that ultimately went to Hiroaki Tsutsumi and Yoshimasa Terui.
The third season, titled “The Culling Game: Part 1,” premiered on January 9, 2026 with a one-hour special that brought together its first two episodes.
The third season kept MAPPA as the animation studio, with Shota Goshozono directing, Hiroshi Seko handling the scripts, and Yosuke Yajima and Hiromi Niwa on character design.
