Synopsis of DON'T TOY WITH ME, MISS NAGATORO

A second-year student is left alone in his school's library and, without meaning to, becomes the target of Nagatoro, a first-year student with a very sadistic streak. She pesters him relentlessly, mocks him and makes his life miserable, while he tries to survive her teasing. The story focuses on the dynamic between the two, shaped by a game of ribbing in which the tension comes from what he puts up with and what she manages to get out of him. Everything takes place in a Japanese school setting, where the two cross paths every day. The series airs on TOKYO MX and BS11, is written by Taku Kishimoto, and stars Sumire Uesaka, Daiki Yamashita and Mikako Komatsu in the main cast.

Trivia about DON'T TOY WITH ME, MISS NAGATORO

The second season replaced Telecom Animation Film with OLM and changed directors, though it kept the writer and the lead character designer from the first installment.
The series won one award and earned five nominations at the Anime Trending Awards, and IMDb lists nominations for Best Comedy and Best Romance at the 2022 Crunchyroll Anime Awards.
The adaptation drew criticism for portraying Nagatoro's initial teasing as harassment, a controversy documented from the first episodes.
The original manga was confirmed to end with chapter 154, after it was announced that only three chapters remained, but there is no official confirmation of a third season of the anime.
