What Season 4 of Knight Rider

The fourth and final season of Knight Rider aired from September 20, 1985 to April 4, 1986. It aired on NBC. The Region 1 DVD was released on April 4, 2006.

Interest in the series waned, leading to its cancellation at the end of the season. Hasselhoff, knowing the series was coming to an end, tried to give it a proper send-off and helped develop the episode "The Scent of Roses," with his wife at the time, Catherine Hickland, who had played Michael's love interest, Stephanie "Stevie" Mason, in earlier episodes. The network instead aired "Voodoo Nights" as the final episode. A new street mechanic, played by Peter Parros, was added to the cast alongside Bonnie. Of all the KITT features added in the fourth season, the most important is "Super Pursuit Mode." KITT could also be turned into a convertible.
