Synopsis of Knight Rider
Michael Knight is the name adopted by a police detective who is shot in the face during an investigation. Wilton Knight, a self-made businessman, rescues him from death, rebuilds his face with plastic surgery, and gives him a new identity. Michael becomes the field agent of the pilot program of the Foundation for Law and Government, known as FLAG, a public justice organization. His work tool is KITT, a heavily modified Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with artificial intelligence, capable of speaking and acting on its own. Together they pursue criminals who operate outside the law. The series, created by Glen A. Larson, aired on the American network NBC and stars David Hasselhoff.
