The Batman

The Batman is an animated series set in Gotham City, created by Duane Capizzi and Michael Goguen and aired on The WB. Bruce Wayne, a millionaire playboy voiced by Rino Romano, hides the fact that he is the city's masked protector. When the story begins, Batman has been fighting crime for three years, and the police do not publicly acknowledge the existence of this vigilante. From the Batcave, a secret hideout beneath the mansion, Batman and his butler Alfred Pennyworth deal with criminals. At the start of the first season, crime has dropped, but police chief Angel Rojas orders a manhunt for Batman. One of his detectives, Ethan Bennett, believes the city needs him. For the first time, the hero faces his best-known enemies. Each season revolves around a subplot that drives the development of the episodes.
