What Season 1 of Lore

Lore is a horror anthology created by Aaron Mahnke, author of the podcast of the same name, which streams on Amazon Prime Video. Each episode tells a story and seeks the real origin of legends such as those of vampires, werewolves, and body snatchers. To do so, it combines documentary footage, archival material, animation, re-enactments, and voice-over narration. The conflicts vary: a New England town that mixes superstition and medicine, a doctor who pushes the ice pick lobotomy, an Irish couple trapped by a belief, a German village hunting a beast, and a boy who becomes attached to a doll. The main cast is made up of Robert Patrick, Holland Roden, and Colm Feore.
