What Season 1 of Midnight Mass
Riley Flynn returns to Crockett Island, an isolated fishing community, after serving four years in prison for killing someone in a drunk-driving accident. He wants to rebuild his life in the place where he grew up, but his father refuses to take him back, and Erin, his former girlfriend, is expecting a child. At the same time, Father Paul Hill arrives, a charismatic and mysterious priest who temporarily replaces the aging Monsignor Pruitt at St. Patrick's Church. His actions revive a faith that was fading among the locals, though the community's divisions only deepen. Unexplainable events begin to happen in town.
