What Season 1 of Night Court

The season kicks off on the night shift at a criminal court in Manhattan, where urgent cases are dealt with at lightning speed. Presiding over it is Judge Harry Stone, 33 years old, who runs hearings with jokes and magic tricks. He is joined by Dan Fielding, a narcissistic prosecutor addicted to sex, and Christine Sullivan, an explosive but naive defense attorney. Rounding out the team is Bull Shannon, a huge bailiff with a childlike personality. Eccentric defendants parade through the courtroom, and the group gets its work done amid rivalries and wisecracks.
