What Season 5 of Rescue Me

The season opens with Tommy Gavin living right across the street from Janet's house. They're separated, though still married on paper, and he's still carrying the weight of September 11, 2001 and the loss of his cousin Jimmy Keefe, whom he still sees in his dreams. His battle with alcohol is tangled up with his AA meetings, where he serves as a sponsor, and with the risk of being kicked off the fire department. At Ladder 62, his colleagues accuse him of being selfish, though nobody doubts his courage on the job. Mike renovates a new bar, Sheila tries to come to terms with Jimmy's death, Janet has a new boyfriend, and Sean's back pain is getting worse.
