What Season 1 of Rick and Morty

Rick Sánchez, a brilliant but selfish, irresponsible and alcoholic scientist, moves into his daughter Beth's house after failing to pay the rent on his own. There he lives with Jerry, Beth, their children Summer and Morty, a shy 14-year-old boy who is not very bright and cannot stand up to his grandfather. Rick drags him along on trips to other planets and dimensions, aboard his spaceship and through portals. At home, the arguments between Beth and Jerry add to Rick's contempt for everything around him. The season blends family drama and science fiction, with visits to a space pawn shop, virtual realities and the devil.
