What Season 4 of S.W.A.T.

Season four opens with Sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson leading a new LAPD SWAT unit created to tackle the most serious crimes. Hondo, raised in South Los Angeles, must win over a community that distrusts the police, still outraged over the accidental shooting of an innocent teenager. Within the team, Deacon Kay feels sidelined, and Jessica Cortez, with whom Hondo is secretly involved, becomes his direct superior. The COVID-19 pandemic upends everyone’s personal and professional lives, while the officers hunt a Chechen crime boss hiding in the city. Chris and Street, meanwhile, compete for a spot in an elite training program.
