What Season 5 of S.W.A.T.

Hondo Harrelson, a sergeant born in South Los Angeles and a former Marine, takes command this season of a new LAPD SWAT unit designed as a last resort against the most serious crimes. His appointment comes after the accidental shooting of an innocent teenager, so the city is still outraged and distrustful of officers. Hondo must win over a wary community while imposing discipline on a team where not everyone accepts his leadership. Deacon Kay feels sidelined, and Jessica Cortez, with whom Hondo is secretly involved, becomes his direct superior. The storylines range from a Mexican village to armed robberies, conspiracies and hostage crises.
