The Return of Sherlock Holmes

What Season 4 of Sherlock Holmes

In late Victorian England, Sherlock Holmes is the world's only consulting detective. His office mainly serves private clients, from humble people to members of the royal family, and works with the police when his cases overlap with those of Inspector Lestrade. Jeremy Brett plays a Holmes who needs constant challenges, because without them he falls into depression and drug abuse. The season adapts stories from The Return of Sherlock Holmes and two feature films based on Doyle novels: The Sign of Four and The Hound of the Baskervilles. Among the cases are disappearances, family mysteries and stolen submarine plans, which arrive with a plea for help from his brother Mycroft.
