The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes

What Season 5 of Sherlock Holmes

In late Victorian England, Sherlock Holmes is the world's only consulting detective. His office takes on clients of all kinds, from people of modest means to members of the royal family, and helps the police when his cases overlap with those of Inspector Lestrade. Holmes needs a constant challenge to keep his mind active. Without a case to occupy him, he falls into depression and drug abuse. This fifth season adapts stories by Arthur Conan Doyle. His investigations lead him to deal with a suffragette, a governess accused of a crime, an indebted aristocrat and a young man framed for murder. Jeremy Brett plays the detective.
