What Season 1 of Star Trek
In the year 2264, Captain James T. Kirk takes command of the USS Enterprise, a Constitution-class starship, to explore unknown worlds and make contact with civilizations no one has ever visited. During the first three years of the voyage, the crew encounters shape-shifting creatures, con artists, killers, and beings with all kinds of mental powers. Every mission demands quick decisions. The main conflict stems from the differences between Spock, who puts logic ahead of emotion, and his crewmates, who are guided by instinct and a sense of responsibility. A friendship develops between Kirk, Dr. McCoy, and the Vulcan.
