What Season 2 of Star Trek
The year is 2267, and the USS Enterprise travels through a hostile galaxy. Throughout the season, the Milky Way suffers attacks from at least three entities capable of destroying planets: a machine obsessed with perfection, a giant robot and a creature resembling an amoeba. Faith in Starfleet is shaken. A commodore loses his mind after losing his crew, an ambassador is accused of murder, and a captain offers his people a life of luxury or the gladiators of a planet. Kirk commands the ship while Spock puts logic ahead of emotion and McCoy is guided by instinct and responsibility.
