What Season 1 of The Big Bang Theory

Leonard Hofstadter and Sheldon Cooper are two Caltech physicists who share an apartment in Pasadena. Their routine changes when Penny, an aspiring actress who works as a waitress, moves into the apartment across the hall. Leonard falls for her instantly, but his social awkwardness keeps him from working up the nerve to ask her out. Sheldon, obsessive about his habits, doesn't tolerate changes to his daily life. Howard Wolowitz and Raj Koothrappali orbit around them, just as geeky and just as clueless about relationships. The episodes follow Leonard's attempts to win over his neighbor, the clashes between the two physicists, and the blunders of a group that barely knows how to deal with anyone outside of science.
