What Season 7 of The Office
Season seven opens with Michael Scott in charge of the Scranton branch, convinced he's an exemplary boss even though his staff doesn't see him that way. His antics cause constant conflict: an incompetent new assistant he refuses to fire because he's his nephew, a therapy session with Toby, or a scam to find out why a rival salesman is so successful. Dwight, submissive and power-hungry, works to win the boss's trust and clashes with his coworkers. Jim and Pam watch each of Michael's antics with discomfort, and the characters comment to the camera on what's happening. Michael is still irritating, but also irresistible.
