Miracle Day

What Season 4 of Torchwood

The season kicks off with the execution of Oswald Danes, a convicted child killer who survives against all odds. That event sets off a chain of events that leads CIA agent Rex Matheson to investigate a global occurrence. His trail takes him from the United States to Wales, to an old, defunct British institution: Torchwood. Jack and Gwen, the only two survivors of the original team, gather a new group. The team is forced to flee and goes up against PhiCorp, while Ellis Hartley Monroe exploits Miracle Day for her own purposes.
