What Season 1 of Wonder Man

Simon Williams is a struggling actor who hopes to land the lead role in a superhero movie remake within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He has superpowers, but he must hide them, because the Doorman Clause bars anyone with superhuman abilities from working in Hollywood. His competition for the role is Trevor Slattery, a failed actor who returns to Los Angeles looking for a second chance. The two form an unexpected friendship as they fight for a spot in the new Wonder Man, which is being prepared by director Von Kovak. The series, created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest, also takes a behind-the-scenes look at the entertainment industry.
