Braindead

A scientist discovers an extremely strange specimen of rat monkey on Skull Island, which, according to the natives, carries a terrible curse. The specimen is transported to New Zealand for study. Meanwhile, Lionel is a young man who lives with his overbearing mother, who disapproves of his new relationship with Paquita, the shopkeeper's daughter. When the two lovers visit the zoo, she secretly keeps an eye on them, and she is bitten by the animal found on the island. Little by little, Lionel's mother turns into a kind of zombie, hungry for flesh, and turns into a zombie everyone she attacks.
