Beyond Re-Animator

Herbert West has been serving time in prison for more than a decade. Directed by Brian Yuzna, the lead role goes to Jeffrey Combs. West has not given up his experiments on reanimating bodies, so he works in the prison's medical center with the few supplies he can gather. Every step forces him to improvise, because resources are scarce and the place was never meant for research of this kind. The conflict comes from that contradiction: a scientist determined to press on, locked behind bars, with limited materials and an ambition that has no easy way out within the prison walls.
