When the undead can evolve, no one is safe.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the movie has a score of 18%, with an average of 5.1 out of 10, based on reviews from 11 critics.

Michael Gingold, writing for Fangoria, praised the detailed production design by Pedro de Gaspar and Miguel Riesco.

Critic Frank Scheck, writing for The Hollywood Reporter, said that if there's one reason to want a real zombie apocalypse, it's that there would be no more movies on the subject.
