The Last Voyage of the Demeter

Based on a single chapter, the Captain’s Log, from 1897 Bram Stoker’s classic novel Dracula, the story unfolds aboard the Russian schooner Demeter, which was chartered to carry private cargo (twenty-four unmarked wooden crates) from Carpathia to London. The film details the strange events that befall the doomed crew as they try to survive the ocean voyage, stalked every night by a terrifying presence on board. When the ship finally reached the port of Whitby, it was completely in ruins. There was no trace of the crew.
