I don't know why the world has turned into a disaster.

Xavier, an economics student in Paris, dreams of becoming a writer, but his future seems headed toward the Ministry of Economy. A friend of his father advises him to spend a year in Spain to specialize and get ahead in government administration. Xavier then decides to study in Barcelona through the Erasmus program, although his girlfriend Martine is not thrilled with the idea. Romain Duris plays the lead in this comedy-drama written and directed by Cédric Klapisch, which follows a young man who arrives in Barcelona without speaking Spanish and with a plan to learn it within a year.
