What Season 7 of Agatha Christie's Poirot
Belgian detective Hercule Poirot, played by David Suchet, investigates crimes in 1930s England alongside Captain Hastings and the efficient Felicity Lemon. Each episode adapts a novel by Agatha Christie and presents a different challenge. In the first, Poirot is living quietly in King's Abbot when he gets caught up in the murder of industrialist Roger Ackroyd. There are almost as many suspects as neighbors, and the detective looks for a link to a suicide that occurred in the village. In the second, an actress asks Poirot and Hastings to help her get a divorce from her husband, Lord Edgware, who she says already agreed by letter. The job seems simple, but the matter gets complicated.
