What Season 2 of Agatha Christie's Poirot

The second season sends Belgian detective Hercule Poirot, played by David Suchet, to investigate crimes in England in the late 1930s. Each episode adapts a story by Agatha Christie and presents a different challenge: dismantling seemingly perfect alibis and uncovering the secrets of characters who lie with elegance. Poirot relies on Captain Hastings, his closest friend, and Felicity Lemon, his efficient secretary. Hastings wants to impress a lady, and Poirot pretends not to care so Hastings can take the spotlight. Blackmail, kidnapping and magic tricks lead the protagonists from Cornwall to London, and time is running out to catch the culprit.
