Hercule Poirot returns to solve crimes in 1930s England, always with Captain Hastings and his secretary Felicity Lemon by his side. Each case is based on a novel by Agatha Christie and presents a well-crafted deception: someone hides a murder behind an alibi that seems perfect. The first episode begins on the Blue Train, where heiress Ruth Kettering is found beaten in her compartment. Later, the detective visits the mansion of the enigmatic Mr. Shaitana, along with seven other guests, four of whom are murderers. Further on, his lawyer Gilbert Entwhistle asks him for help with a puzzle and a crime. The fourth case takes him to the Cloade family.
