What Season 8 of Agatha Christie's Poirot

The eighth season adapts stories by Agatha Christie featuring Belgian detective Hercule Poirot, played by David Suchet, in late 1930s England. After suffering heart problems, Poirot retreats to a seaside health farm on Burgh Island, where a murder on an isolated beach disturbs the peace. He then travels to the Hassanieh excavations in the Iraqi desert, where the wife of a famous archaeologist begins to have hallucinations that seem to be a sign of madness. Poirot must expose carefully constructed lies and alibis that seem perfect. He is accompanied by Captain Hastings, his closest friend, and the efficient secretary Felicity Lemon.
