Synopsis of Berserk
Guts is a lone mercenary who fights only to survive. His path crosses that of the Band of the Hawk, a mercenary group led by Griffith, an ambitious and charismatic leader who dreams of ruling a kingdom. Guts soon earns Griffith's trust and is swept up in that same ambition. After a battle that nearly costs both of them their lives, Griffith begins to get close to Charlotte, the daughter of the King of Midland, and the group's situation changes completely. The series adapts the manga by Kentaro Miura and follows Guts through a world of war and fragile loyalties. It is directed by Naohito Takahashi and aired on Nippon TV.
