Synopsis of InuYasha

InuYasha is a demon who was sealed away long ago so that it would stop causing trouble. Kagome, a child of destiny, passes through a magical barrier that separates the modern world from the world of civil wars and breaks that seal, because a threat created by a monster endangers everyone. The series, based on the manga by Rumiko Takahashi and produced by Sunrise, aired on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV and features the voices of Kappei Yamaguchi and Satsuki Yukino. Kagome holds the Shikon Jewel, which grants great power and attracts many monsters determined to seize it. When the jewel shatters into a thousand pieces, InuYasha and Kagome set out to search for each of the fragments.
