Synopsis of The Familiar of Zero
Louise Françoise Le Blanc de La Vallière is a young noblewoman who studies at the Tristain Academy of Magic, but her spells almost always end in explosions. Her classmates call her “Louise the Zero” because she has mastery over none of the four magical elements. When the summoning ritual for second-year students arrives, each student must summon a familiar, a magical creature that will accompany them as a protector and lifelong partner. Louise, however, summons Saito Hiraga, an ordinary teenager from Japan, and the ceremony leaves her humiliated in front of everyone. The series is set in this magical world, where a noblewoman and a boy who knows nothing about it are forced to live together. It airs on AT-X and Chiba TV, and its main cast is led by Rie Kugimiya.
