What Season 3 of Crossing Jordan

Season 3 opens with Jordan Cavanaugh's return to the Boston Medical Examiner's Office after a season away from home. She goes back to her job under Garret Macy, the chief medical examiner, who has to deal with her eccentricities. Jordan isn't authorized to get involved in police investigations, so she draws on the fame of her father, Max, a former cop, and on her charm to win over the people around her. Max remains obsessed with the unsolved murder of his wife, and that memory shows in his daughter, who empathizes with every victim that ends up on the autopsy table. Jill Hennessy plays the lead in this series created by Tim Kring for NBC.
