What Season 5 of Crossing Jordan

Jordan Cavanaugh returns to the Boston Medical Examiner's Office after a season away and resumes her post under Garret Macy, the chief medical examiner, who has to deal with her eccentricities. The medical examiner isn't allowed to get involved in police cases, so she draws on the reputation of her father, Max, a former cop, and on her charm to win over the people around her. Max remains obsessed with the unsolved murder of his wife, and that memory weighs on Jordan, who empathizes with every victim she examines. The cases that land on her desk push her to search for the truth behind every death, while her relationship with Woody becomes another source of tension.
